Clinical Significance of Accurate Total Hemoglobin Measurements in the Perioperative Setting
Dr. Fabian Lara from UC Davis - CA will be presenting the poster Clinical Significance of Accurate Total Hemoglobin Measurements in the Perioperative Setting based on the study they have done comparing the methodology (co-oximetry vs. conductivity) used to decide whether or not to transfuse. The study compares measured hemoglobin on the ABL90 FLEX analyzer with that of the epoc and iSTAT analyzers.

This poster was the recipient of the 2017 Best Annual Meeting Abstract for Outstanding Research in the Area of Critical and Point-of-Care Testing.
